Giant Ducks at The Brit Awards

1 Comment February 19, 2009 / Posted in News

Duffy was the big winner as The Brit Awards 2009, but duck lovers couldn’t have missed the giant ducks that adorned the stage. The ducks are taking over the world! Whilst Matthew Horne, James Cordon and Kylie Minogue presented the show two huge ducks sat at the back of the stage. You can just make out the giant ducks in the background of the opening dance sequence featuring Kylie and the guts from Gavin and Stacey.

But, there was even better to come when Girls Aloud and Alan Carr were seen with giant rubber ducks when being interviewed by Fearne Cotton! The Giant Duck is made by Tobar and measures 32 x 27 x 23cm. It does take a lot of room in the bath, but they’re pretty cool and kids (well small kids) can actually sit on them (but not in the bath).

You can your own Giant Duck from I Want One of Those (use the code AFF05 to get a 5% discount, offer ends 31st December 2009).
