Mr Spuck – A Duck That Boldly Goes Where No Duck Has Gone Before!
Leave the first response April 30, 2009 / Posted in LED DucksWith the new Star Trek movie due for release in May 2009 we thought it was only right to give a mention to the only duck that has boldly gone where no duck has gone before. Yes, that’s right it’s Mr Spuck! Half vulcan, half duck this is the logical duck for any fans of Star Trek.

Being a space traveling duck, Mister Spuck is futuristic and comes in a stylish space ship styled box. It’s also an LED duck, meaning hours of colour changing fun if you get him wet. Unfortunately unlike the Star Wars themed ducks, Spuck is alone in the universe. There’s currently no Kirk, Sulu or Scotty Ducks!
We think this is a stylish looking duck with vivid colours and a cool design. Perhaps with the expected success of the new Star Trek movie it won’t be long before further ducks go Star Trekking alongside Mr Spuck.

Donald Duck Tshirt by Mighty Fine at Truffle Shuffle
Leave the first response April 23, 2009 / Posted in ClothingWe’ve always thought that Donald Duck has a had a bit of a rough gig from Disney. The poor guy always seems to be in the shadow of the mouse and gets overlooked on all the merchandise, movies, tv adverts etc. Anyway we love Donald Duck and were pleasantly surprised to be told about this fantastic tshirt available at Truffle Shuffle by our friends at Tshirt Dude.
It’s designed by Mighty Fine and is available in Men’s S, M, L, XL and XXL sizes. The price is £24.99 and features a distressed print of our hero on the front. This is a brilliant tshirt for all duck fans and we’re off now to buy one! See below for more duck tshirts available from Truffle Shuffle.

Pirate Ducks & Devil Ducks Ahoy!
Leave the first response March 14, 2009 / Posted in Rubber DuckIf you like ducks, devils and pirates then you’re going to love Pirate Devil Duckies! They’re available from ShinyShack, a cool gadget store who have a load of duck related goodies. The Pirate Devil Ducks caught our eye though as they not only have a nice sized rubber duck but they’ve also got Pirate Devil Duckie Pencil Toppers!
All are in black and come with white horns and an eye patch. To make them even more piratey they also have skull and crossed swords on their chests too.

The Pirate Devil Duckie Toppers and Pirate Devil Duckie cost £3.99 each. With the pencil toppers you get a set of 5 ducks, whilst the full size duck is 10cm long. Both would make fantastic additions to your duck, devil or pirate collections.

All The Ducks Are Singing In The Water
Leave the first response March 11, 2009 / Posted in NewsHow many songs can you name that features the word duck? You’ll probably immediately say “Nice Weather for Duck” by Lemon Jelly (see the video below) and then perhaps umm and ahh a bit. However, did you know that the likes of Pulp, Malcolm McLaren, Badly Drawn Boy and Jeff Beck have produced records featuring the word “duck”. Not convinced?
Well unplug your jukebox and do yourself a favour as Duck Music offers you 12 duck related tunes. If you’re a member of new music site Spotify then you can download the playlist from Share My Playlists and listen to some of most quacking tunes ever.
If you know of any duck related tunes that should be included in a “Duck Music” playlist why not let us know! And don’t forget to leave your comments if you’ve added Duck Music to your playlists. As we compiled the list, all we’ll say is – it’s an experience!
And what better to enjoy duck music… than a duck radio!

Narrated by Sharpe actor Sean Bean, the advert shows “The March of the Ducks” as they make their way down rivers, waterfalls and ice flows.
After 100 days and nights, they are eventually fished out the water as an “O2 Treat”. The ducks featured are Tobar’s giant ducks and they have been modified to include a hook.
