News reaches Duck Holiday that Elvis has been spotted outside The Moulin Rouge in Paris. Looking uncannily like a duck, he was spotted admiring the famous Paris club.

The King was also spotted on a packed of McCains – put simply There’s a duck sat on the chip pack swears he’s Elvis (Kirsty Maccoll fans will recognise the title of the song)

Early this month (4th July) the Betfred Bingo Duck Grand National took place at Worcester Race Course. The course was waterlogged and so Betfred decided to organise a charity duck race. The results can be seen in the video below!

St Richards Hospice and The Riding for the Disabled Association split the £500 first prize, whilst the other charities that took part in this one off duck event all went away with a £100 donation.

On September 2nd 2007, The Great British Duck Race is taking part in London. 165,000 rubbers ducks are expected to “swim” down a 1km stretch of the River Thames near Hampton Court Palace. This would be a new world record and thr organisers are hoping that the event will raise over half a million pounds for UK charities. You can get involved today by adopting a duck and helping a worthy cause!

It’s just £2 to adopt a duck and you could win the first prize of £10,000 or one of 30 other great prizes. Your duck will be numbered and if it crosses the winning line first you’ll win the top prize. And even if you don’t win you could be helping create a world record!

The World Record for a Duck Race is currently held by The Singapore Duck Race. In 2001, they successfully sold and raced 123,500 ducks, raising $1,200,000 Singapore in the process.
